FAQs

Microblading

It lasts 9-12 months before you will want a touch up. You will have the initial appointment for $400 and then a touch up at 6 weeks which is free. If you want a third touch up before 12 weeks it’s $50 and then  any touch up before 13 months (from your first appointment) it is $200. After 13 months it goes back up to $400.

Microblading falls into the semi-permanent category in the permanent cosmetics world.  It is a superficial tattoo, meaning it does not penetrate as deeply as it does with a tattoo gun.  If you were to choose to not do your touch ups your skin would exfoliate the tattoo away in time.

No. Microblading is done with a super fine needle with several points.  Essentially giving you a stroke the equavilent (or slightly bigger) than a paper cut.

There is a topically numbing cream applied to keep you comfortable. Varying how your body takes to anesthetics. Some describe the feeling as irritating rather than painful.

Microneedling

We use a topical numbing that has lidocaine in it so if you are pregnant we always ask you to get a doctors note or to go without numbing or wait till the sweet babe has arrived. You are absolutely ok to microneedle while nursing.

At least 3 and then maintaining every 6-8 months.

You will be a sunburnt red for a couple hrs and then it subsides to a sun kissed pink for a couple of days I’m most cases. You will peel around day 3-5 if at all. Your skill will be healed around a week.

Scalp Micropigmentation

You may keep your hair long for density depending on your hair style and purpose for getting Scalp Micropigmentation . However, if you’re filling in for balding it’s best to keep hair in a buzz cut.

No! Women who feel they are thinning can benefit just as much by creating darkness and depth giving the illusion that hair is growing in and making it so you can’t see the scalp.

Most clients sit comfortably due to the numbing. Some discomfort is to be expected.

Eyelash Extensions

If they are applied properly by your technician they will never damage your natural lash.  Proper application would be (for classic eyelash extensions) isolation.  Meaning ONE natural lash per ONE extension.  Making sure the extension is not too heavy for the natural lash is also a big factor.

Yes.  You have to be either an esthetician or a cosmetologist.

Depending on the artist, how you care for your lashes and your natural lash growth cycle, you will want a fill every 2-3 weeks. Varies from person to person and artist to artist.

Yes! You may see some premature shedding, but not enough to make you stay out of the water.

It can last up to 2 weeks depending on hair type, how often you wash your face, and what products you put on your face.
